Join me for an exposition of Revelation 21-22 from a Preterist perspective. This is a recording of a message I recently preached to Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. These verses provide us with a picture of the glorified church. Some commentators think they refer to heaven and indeed they could but since the New Jerusalem is refered to as the Bride of Christ it is best to understand the description to refer to the church. The perspective that the New Jerusalem is the glorified church should have brought encouragement to the first century church as well as to us in this day. The outline is as follows:
- The Presence of the Lamb in the City 21:1-3, 22, 22:1-5
- The Requirements of the Inhabitance of the City 21:5-8
- The Perfection of the Construction of the City 21:10-21
- The Blesings of the Life in the City 21:22-26
